In 2017, Port Rail Ltd. has been authorized for wagons and tank wagons maintenance, and two years later, in 2019, the company expanded its activity by being certified for locomotives maintenance.

In 2019, a locomotive depot was built on the territory of BMF Port Burgas EAD, for carrying out repairsand technical inspections of locomotives by qualified specialists.

Itis equipped with two service pits in order to allow inspection and repair of the mechanical part of the tractionrolling stock.

The service station is fitted with:one hoist, with a loading capacity of 2.5 tonnenes, and two jacks, with aloadingcapacity of 40 tonnenes for installation and dismantling of large units.
